Congratulations on being nominated by your school counselor to apply to LUCA as a Latino U Scholar for the 2023-24 school year. You should be proud of your accomplishments that have led you to this nomination. We look forward to getting to know you and your family!

As a reminder, Latino U Scholars must be first-generation, meaning that neither parent has completed college in the US.

This application form must be submitted by Friday, January 13, 2023 at 11:59 PM. The application cannot be saved and resumed, so plan to complete the application in one sitting. Also, note that Section 4 includes a prompt for a personal statement (300-500 words) – we recommend you write that in a separate document and paste it here when you are ready to submit everything together.

We will be in touch with you during the application review process. We plan to make our final decisions and notify those accepted into the Latino U Scholars program by Friday, March 17, 2023.
